Brugmansia

Brugmansia, commonly known as Angel’s Trumpets, is a genus of seven species of tender, woody shrubs or small trees native to South America and belonging to the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. They are highly prized in horticulture for their dramatic, large, pendulous, trumpet-shaped flowers, which are often richly fragrant. Widely grown as fast-growing container plants or, in warmer climates, as in-ground shrubs, Brugmansia are renowned for their long flowering season, blooming continuously from summer into autumn, with individual flowers reaching 30 cm or more in length.
