Tetrapanax
Tetrapanax cultivars are bold, architectural plants grown for their enormous, deeply lobed foliage and dramatic tropical presence. Often referred to as the Rice Paper Plant, these fast-growing, suckering shrubs or small trees produce huge, felted leaves that can span 60 cm or more across, creating an instant jungle effect in the garden.
Selected cultivars offer variations in size, leaf shape, adding even greater ornamental value. Ideal for creating structure and impact in borders, Tetrapanax thrives in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
