Colocasia ‘Madeira Star’ PPAF is a sensational hybrid bred by Brian Williams of Brian’s Botanicals. A true chameleon, its foliage changes dramatically with light levels. In full sun, the leaves develop rich charcoal tones crowned with an intense flush of magenta, while some may unfurl to reveal a surprising pastel blend of colours.

In partial shade, the foliage emerges emerald green, highlighting its distinctive, alligator-like texture, with a vivid raspberry-coloured centre providing striking contrast. Adding to its intrigue, the plant produces scroll-shaped spathes that act as an early signal of flowering—an elegant prelude to the blooms that follow.
